John, I certainly have no problem with them making money, but it is rare nowadays for a movie to draw crowds into its third week of release. And I think the reason is word of mouth. Not only "don't go, it sucks!" but trailers, reviewers and friends who give away too much for free. Heck, I think everyone figured out that the Titanic was gonna get sunk. <g>

I finished the Borgia saga last night. Good stuff, but I think Puzo was a bit too kind to the family. Yes, there were many others who were just as bad, but they were still pretty bad. Lucretia is the only one who probably got a bad rap by history. Puzo was also pretty rough on Cardinal de la Rovere, the later Pope Julius. He's the one who had Michaelangelo paint the ceilings. I mean, Rex Harrison played him in "The Agony and the Ecstasy," so how bad could he be? <G>

BTW, there is an interesting old horror series written by Fred Saberhagen about Dracula. What makes it interesting is that in one of the books, Dracula claims that he was turned into the undead by Cesare and Lucretia Borgia. And Cesare is still alive committing nasty deeds by night. If you ever see it at a garage sale or something, be sure to pick it up. I gave mine away about 20 years ago.
