We had 10 adults for Thanksgiving dinner yesterday, and we drank some mighty good wines. We opened the first bottle at 4:00 and drank the last at 9:00.

In order of succession we drank:

1. 1998 Zenato, Valpolicella Classico (Peschiera Italy)
$7.99)
2000 Beringer, Founders Estate Sauvignon Blanc (St.
Helena, Calif. $7.99)

2. 2000 Clos Du Bois Chardonnay ( Geyserville, Calif.$9.99)

3. 1999 Beringer Estate Bottled Chard. (St. Helena Calif.
$9.99)

4. 1999 M.G. Vallejo Chardonnay (Sonoma Calif. $8.99)

5. (With the bird)
a. 1999 Gloria Ferrer Carnernos Chardonnay ( Sonoma,
Calif. $13.99) It was my understanding that
a "Carnernos" could not be called a Carnernos unless
the grapes were grown in the Carnernos Valley, but
this wine proved me wrong. It had that distinct,
delicious Carnernos flavor.
b. 1997 Chateau Ste Michelle, Canoe Ridge Estate
Vineyard Chardonnay (gift)

6. 1999 Paul Jaboulet Aine, Parallele "45" Cotes
du Rhone (gift)

Just thought I would share that with you all. Be interested in knowing what wines you all selected for your Thanksgiving Day feast.
