I am so cheap that for everyday wine drinking I rarely spend over $20.00. In fact I make a game of finding the best wines I can for under $10.00. I might add that I have had a lot of success. I have found that the Napa, Sonoma, and Mendicino regions of Calif. produce some outstanding wines for very good bargains. The Willamette valley of Oregon and Columbia valley in Washington have some wonderful wines to offer. I have found the french Bordeaux wines to be a great investment, and love the effects of all French reds. I still think they do it best for an import wine although sometimes Italy outshines itself.
