Why would any business want to cut itself off from 90% of its potential market? Creating platform-portable software is a pretty well established science at this point. Is the "purist" Mac market (those who won't buy a product unless it is available exclusively on MacOS) that large these days?

I can only guess that you've misinterpreted my complaint that after purchasing Bungie, Microsoft immediately halted Bungie's development of Macintosh games. I never implied that they should have halted the other platforms as well, if that's what you're saying, but I really have no idea what your point is. And I am not aware of the existence of the "'purist' Mac market" you refer to, where people will only buy non-portable games. Care to clarify any of that?
