UF,

While that is true (assuming that it is), Office does not represent a "growth" market, instead a stable revenue stream every couple of years.

I guess what I was trying to say is that the PC market, in general, has stablized from a high growth era, to a maturing market. Therefore, SW programs that run on the PC are not going to contribute to high growth.

Instead, with MSFT attacking the gaming market, MSFT can continue to grow.

One question, and I am thinking aloud, the xbox, technically, is a PC since it possesses an x86 class uP (i.e. Celeron 7xx MHz), an NVDIA GPU and ram. I wonder if there will be patches out so that people can play xbox games on their PC?

Can the xbox convert those people in the gaming sector of the PC market to purchase an xbox?
