Oi've got a luvverly bunch o' coconuts - #reply-15378361 ..... just stashing this, tripped over it, couple months ago i was looking for it ... a lot of JC's posts are well worth reading, but this one captures the fiat/real argument imho ... when they're cranking out paper money so much faster than goods and services are increasing, that paper has got to fall in value ... fall against what? - well, um, against that time-honoured 'ultimate form of payments in the world', gold Or so goes the theory.
