Hello Walkingshadow. The thing that bothers me about the media etc.. talking about how the bombing isn't doing any good is this. We were very close to stopping the strikes on the taliban during this encounter. Why? Because everyone said it wasn't doing any good. Including the taliban. If they could have shut down the bombing with public sentiment they would still control Afganistan. The truth was(as we found out this past week) the bombing was very effective(demoralizing the heck out of the enemy for one thing). But you must admit, at one point it seemed we were wasting our efforts by dropping bombs. That's what the enemy wanted us to think.
