The point he doesn't make is that Osama's death will trigger the debate. Or that something else will trigger the debate. I don't know what will get that debate going. It's hard for a people to become introspective and look to make changes. And you don't usually do that as a response to losing one of your own at the hand of the "others." I can't imagine the ME states doing that anymore than I can imagine us having an "honest debate" on root causes. Karen
