Nope. Tom's was a chipset issue (which always reflects poorly on the CPU company in question, in addition to both the chipset and motherboard company involved). The "driver update" issue is solely with regards to enabling PowerNow! in retail versions of WinXP (where MS "forgot" to include the appropriate dll).
