I actually wonder why different religions insist so much on their own Gods.

I mean, isn't the entity called God in English, Allah in Arabic and Bhagvaan or Ishwar in Hindi ? Yet you will rarely find a Christian praying to Allah or Bhagvaan, or a Moslem praying to God or Bhagvaan.

Hindu's are so anglicised and westernised after centuries of British rule, they say that Bhagvaan when translated to English is called "God". So most practicing Hindu's I know, pray to God and to Bhagvaan or Ishwar....but none of them will pray to Allah !!!!

This rigidity in the face of linguistic fluff amuses me a lot ! Am i missing something ? Is there a logic to this thinking ?
