Sultan,

You said, "No logic.. All linguistic.. If there is only one God and if most religions accept it, then only difference is in the name that has been given.."

No, thats not right! If one religion says they believe in one God, and he is a loving God, and all his actions are done in love for his people, and anothers religion believes God takes part in random violence and hate, even though both religions believe in one God, are these God's the same? (And this is an example, not talking about any specific religions!)

If two agree on everything about God, but his name, then I would agree with you! But as soon as there is a deviation in the characteristics or nature of God between the parties, then you can see that it is more than a difference in the name. And that's why we have many different religions. There is disagreements about the character and nature of God in many of them. Then of course, you have other religions that believe in more than one God, no God, etc, etc...

If the name is all that was in disagreement in most religions, that would be awesome!

God Bless,
IGIT
