Mark, No, they have SAMPLES of 256 Mbit chips. They won't be making them for many months. Meanwhile, most of the biggies will be in production by the end of the year. This was just a publicity scam by MU and DELL.

MU will be producing quantities of 64 Mbit chips by the end of the year, telling everyone they were the first to do so. -g- But they are toast. As Toshiba moves to .25 um production and everyone moves to SDRAM, MU is trying to gather enough money to make the transitition to 64 Mbit EDO. Things are going to get worser and worser here, IMHO, without another DRAM scam. MB
