Paul: Why do you call it FUD - when it is the TRUTH - widely known and widely admitted?

Didn't I reply to this ludicrous quote already???

Your source clearly states that the motherboard he used was neither qualified for nor approved for use with the AthlonXP.

Yes, it's a known fact that AthlonXP won't work with all older chipsets. That's completely normal. Similarly, Tualatin won't work with all older P3 motherboards. Again, completely to be expected. Not ideal, I'll grant you that, but it is the way the industry works and you can jump up and down screaming "Athlon instabilities" all you want, it doesn't change the fact that your fabulous source used a motherboard which isn't supposed to work with AthlonXP; it was never qualified for AthlonXP; it was never approved for use with AthlonXP.

Surprisingly enough, it doesn't work with AthlonXP. Neither does a socket370 board ;-).
