Yes, I still use sequential as a key to my swing trading. In recent years, there had been many setups followed by still another setup, as trends have been prolonged. Therefore, it is crucial to look at the ratio of high versus low after each additional setup to see if the latest setup will signal a forthcoming reversal in trend. This was discribed in DeMark's most recent book.

I also examine candlesticks, and momentum indicators like stochastics for additional confirmation before every trade.
