Russian Troops in Afghanistan english.pravda.ru 12 Russian Ilyushin-78 aircraft landed today morning in Afghan airport Bagram. For a long time, Russia has not carried out such a scaled operation for transporting equipment and people. It is being reported, that after unloading, the aircraft flew back to Russia. Equipment and technical personnel for reestablishing Russian diplomatic mission and humanitarian centre are said to have been transported to Afghanistan.
