How's this? Retailers : Mixed reviews for big holiday shopping weekend, with consumer electronic and discount retailers reporting relatively solid numbers while traffic at department store chains was underwhelming... Nevertheless, by most accounts, weekend exceeded most fears and Briefing.com expects sector to enjoy a nice open... In fact, entire market should get a lift from better-than-feared sales numbers as it suggests that worst of recession could be behind us.
