American can't hide behind a strong dollar and tarrifs forever.

Btw Teevee.. Isn't praying for the collapse of the USD somewhat counterproductive?

Afterall, a strong dollar HURTS American exporters. It makes US products even more expensive in economies like Canada, where their Loonie is only worth .62 cents.

So if the dollar declines, and the Loonie climbs, it's going to work in the favor of US corporations.

Btw, how come the Canadian dollar is so much weaker than the USD? Could it be that global investment capital fails to realize all of the profitibility derived from those those modern and productive mills and overall Canadian entrepreneruialship?

Obviously they have the US beat on that account... Sad that the global investment community fails to see that and put the majority of their capital in US dollars, believing their best return will be realized there.

Now who's hiding behind their currency, specifically the weakness in their currency?

(wink, wink, nudge, nudge)
