Douglas re: ENE ?

...seems like "gambling" in unchartered waters - re: as to "if" ENE's derivatives debacle is "too big to let fail" ?

In all due respect; playing ENE here doesn't even remotely involve investing... throwing darts, spinning the wheel, rolling the dice ?... yes; investing ? - No.

Only those with an inside look at the derivatives book would have a clue & from the action of late... smart money isn't buying ENE....any "hard assets" would more likely be an attractive bankruptcy bargain vs. being worth taking on the derivatives mess... and ENE's management (or, lack thereof) of late has hardly built any credibility, or confidence.

I'd imagine there is enough volatility that someone will emerge triumphant from an in & out trade... but, again; why ?

The track record of playing these debt implosions hasn't been good for oilpatch co's...or any other sector for that matter...

good luck
