Do you attribute the decline in volume and quality of posts on the g&k forum to a loss of interest in Gorilla gaming, the tech crash, or to the vocal detractors who have camped on the thread.

Personally, I have found the quality of the thread to be better in year 2001 than in year 2000 when the thread tended to promote its tech favorites at any price. I am interested is Gorilla Gaming combined with some attention to valuation. A focus on either one without the other is a half-baked investment strategy imho. Recently, I have enjoyed both the bearish, contrarian posts as well as the responses to bears from some of the regulars. For example, Bruce Brown and Mucho Mass had a very interesting exchange of posts awhile back and both made good arguments. Eric L recently shared an article that made a good case for paying a premium to private investment value for companies with strong brands.

There continue to be some very good presentations on this board focusing on studying Gorilla characteristics--- the BEAS one for example. I am very interested in the upcoming Nokia hunt report from Eric. As someone interested in both Gorilla characteristics and valuation measures, Paul Philip has been an excellent addition to the thread.

I don't believe the decline in volume is anything to worry about. It just tracks the current overall level of posting on threads across the board.

Best,

Huey
