I wish I remembered some. I do remember a lot of commentary about "stubborn Swedes" when I was growing up. Once there was some kind of breakthrough in a very tense Middle Eastern situation, and there was a newspaper article crediting a Swedish diplomat with having brought it about, mainly through perseverance. I cut the article out and sent it to my parents marked, "Swedish Stubbornness Saves the World." I never heard whether they got my humor or not.
