The stories about HP's decision to go after the photography market in a big way should be good news indeed. The stories point out that current digital cameras have lousy picture quality compared to film. It's a bit like the early music CDs. Today's 20- and 24-bit CDs have infinitely more music detail and far superior sound. The same should be true with digital pix. And as the camera makers come out with models that capture more detail, the cameras will require storage devices with greater and greater memory capacity. Jim
