Charles, I just spoke with the guy at work that loaned me the collection of Linux CD-Roms. It amazed me to find that he never got any of his Linux PC's to connect to the internet either. He said he couldn't even get them to recognize his modem. Heck, I got one of the versions I tried to recognize my modem and dial, just couldn't get it to do the PAP thingamajiggy. He said he knows of some Linux work groups that might help me with all of the issues that he says will come up. I'm not that sick. I'm sticking with Windows (or Mac) along with the other 99.5% of PC users. Dave
