I agree with you that distinctions can, and even should, be made. I have avoided reading anything they have recently writen, but it seems to me that both TP and Mephisto would be posting very differently if Al Gore was President. I think of them as very partisan Democrats who never got over the election result. Completely predictable (and ineffectual), too.
