Science in the latter of half of the last century was dominated by the US. Prior to that it was a largely a European enterprise. I'm not clear what it is any longer. The world has really gone global. Not only electronically sharing of information but people are moving back and forth and in their places of employment. You've seen the human embryo clone. American company in Mass [I think]. Who are the employees? They could all be French for all we know. Ok, not French. <s> You can look at the more mundane aspects of the economy...Burger King, Pillsbury, the Jolly Green Giant...British. The British don't know Burger King is British. Well, maybe their mothers do. :-) Possibly, but I still hope their turkeys were overcooked, dry and tasteless. <s> Just as an idle question of curiousity that is meaningless...does anyone know if any Church has an official position as to whether a clone has a "soul"? jttmab
