I'm guilty of seeing what I wanted to see rather than what the charts were telling me too. To me, the charts are saying that it is getting close to the time for Mr. Ugly to visit the market. I am expecting a 50pt range for the next 7 days or so between 1900 and 1950, then down. If we break above 1950, I would change my scenario. Really, I will be watching the VIX and VXN more than the actual value of the COMP.
