Not saying anything about his remarks, but they did bring to mind a scenario from years before. The WTC was bombed in '93 and I was stuck in NYC wondering how to return.

So I called a trader in WTC 7, the Salomon trading floor, for a ride. They practically had to drag this guy away from the desk because he wanted to get off a 2,000 lot option trade before they closed the building. Many of the traders in those building were wildmen/women.

Still in all, it wasn't just traders that lost their lives. Ray's remarks are certainly regrettable, no matter what the occupation.
