Hi Sergio, had a great Thanksgiving..I actually spent some of it at "the French Ladys", was a lot of fun. I was one of two US born citizens there<lol> (the other being one of her daughters)..2 Italians,1 Brit, 2 Argentinians(?), one woman from Belgium, her French daughter...it was a lot of fun..Mom is doing great, they are now down in Florida, she's riding her bike 20 miles a day, in fact she just bought a new mountain bike!..They just scored a deal on a cruise to Alaska in May, something like $1100 a piece, 14 days cruise out of Vancouver, then 4 days traveling in Alaska, then a 7 day return cruise to BC ( not bad for $1100<g>).They are leaving Fla. around the holidays, and traveling through the West coast for the Winter.Will begin to spend a bit more time on stocks and the markets now, cut back my hours to 7-1, 5 days a week. Thats plenty for the Winter.I am going to begin with sectors. The first one I want to explore is steel, -it was mentioned around the Thanksgiving table;^)DD
(Bethlehem steel at 39 frickin cents, who would have dreamed it--not to say it is a bargain) The manufacture of all these cars has got to be eating up some supply..seems like every other car I see is a VW- who supplies their steel? |
