Next time give me a specific symbol :o).. If I understand your question correctly, I think the answer is that you do have a chance to sell. I sold covered calls on AFCI where there was no volume - only the bid and ask. I even placed my price above the bid and later in the day it did sell - it even went up more later on and had a bit more volume - but the volume was low that day...

It is also possible that the order wouldn't go thru -it all depends if someone out there wants to buy at your price. I wouldn't think near the money calls would be beneficial though?

I am not a seasoned options trader and I may have misunderstood your question completely <G> How's it going by the way? I really want you to succeed at this!
