"I don't follow that one." Perhaps if you knew something about business it would help. Purchases for things like cars are planned -- special inducements to make a purchase now rather than later do little to alter the volume of sales but they do affect when a person buys a car. The cars bought today with 0% interest are mostly planned purchases -- these are cars that will NOT be bought in January, February, March etc.... Stuffing the channel now produces sales, not profits, and reduces sales later, further affecting profits.
