I know the Bucs played some ok D but the glaring stat to me is that Marshall Faulk only ran the ball 12 times and caught it twice. 14 total touches for the 2000 league MVP who had over 2100 yards from scrimmage last year 1350 of which were on the ground. Now I realize that 14 plays is about 20% of the total offensive plays for STL. However, the Rams lost the time of possession game which in this case means they didn't run the ball enough IMO. Their D was solid but it spent a lot of time on the field because the Rams rushed the ball only 30% of the time. I think that 30/70 approach cost them the game.
