For the record, I am confident that God has intervened in my life and the life of others in providential ways, and I sincerely pray for His aid. Thus, I qualify as having an "Imaginary Friend". I have always found the banter about having an Imaginary Friend arch, petty, and insulting. (By the way, "especially" does not mean "exclusively". Deism is a species of theism.)
