Former Director's Stake In IBasis Falls To 4.67%
Dow Jones Newswires

WASHINGTON -- A group including former iBasis Inc. (IBAS) director Daniel Price lower its stake in the company to 4.67%.

The group reported owning a 7.6% stake on May 30.

In a filing Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the group said it beneficially holds 2.7 million common shares after selling 1.3 million shares between Nov. 2 and Nov. 23 at prices ranging from 68 cents to $1.10.

More recently, Price resigned from iBasis' board. In a SEC filing Nov. 13, Price said conflicts existed between himself and members of senior management, and at least some members of the board, about the direction of the company and the processes that should be followed in evaluating and implementing strategic alternatives.

IBasis, of Burlington, Mass., provides wholesale Internet protocol telephony for international calls to telecom carriers.
