Think of the bad economics - IBM would have to buy and install hardware and not get paid for it when they ship the product - and NOT EVER - if the customer never upgrades. Further, as time goes by, CPU prices fall - so it make sense to buy these CPUs - and install them - only when they are ordered or upgraded. Paul
