I believe their are certain topics which can only be discussed with the utmost care so as to show the proper respect to those with inherent traits which may differ from our own. Race, sex, disability, ethnicity and yes...religion are in that bag IMO. I agree with you that those topics require care, although not for the reason you state. I would throw patriotism into that group of sensitive subjects. My point was that I had reason to believe that I was taking adequate care. Karen
