A long-term horizon for an unprofitable company can bite an investor. How long can a company that loses one-third of its market cap each year survive? You don't want your horizon to be longer-term than the life expectancy of the company.

If, however, you've got some inside information about how LBRT will avoid bankruptcy in the meantime, I'd love to hear it! They have certainly been keeping their PR firm busy with Press Releases, and the world's current healthy antipathy toward Microsoft can only help LBRT.
