Well, of course. I don't use the N-word. I say gay rather than queer. Don't you? What you don't seem to get is that I avoid hurting people as much as I can. I would say plain rather than ugly. And slow or dim or simple rather than stupid. And on and on. Would you rather I did otherwise? Surely not.

And just as important, there is quite simply no need for euphemisms and most decidedly dysphemisms in describing sincerely held religious belief.

So, you didn't like superstitious, either, huh? If you can suggest a kinder word, I'll use it. If not, I'm at a loss.
