The extent of the selling depends on how much stocks have run up and what kind of expectations people have for the next 6 months. It will be all over by 1/15

Greenspan signals the end of any upturn by change in bias and/or end of the maximum possible 200 basis points in rate cuts. The market will then have to start to relay on much more heavily on earnings anouncements.

Last but not least, week before 4/15 will be mother of all declines if 99-00 liquidity bubble plays out.
