The tax laws in this country are unjust, counter productive, wasteful, complex beyond human understanding. It brings shame on this otherwise great country. Every year they become worse. There is no prospect this year or next of any meaningful change in a positive direction.

If a political party cared about this, and seriously wanted to change this country for the better, it could make meaningful reform the centerpiece of it's campaign to take control of the House and Senate. I believe the American people are more than ready to listen.

I sincerely wish there was such a party in this country.
