IDF arrests nine Palestinians in PA-controlled area of Hebron By Amos Harel, Ha'aretz Correspondent, and agencies An IDF commando unit Tuesday night arrested nine Palestinians suspected of involvement in terrorist activities. Four Palestinians - an Islamic Jihad activist and his family - were apprehended in the A-Rahma neighborhood of the West Bank city of Hebron, which is under Palestinian Authority control. The other five were arrested in a village southwest of Hebron. Security sources said one of the five was a member of Force 17, Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat's presidential guard. Palestinian sources reported that another of the five was a man in a wheel-chair who had been wounded during the intifada. The IDF has not yet made any comment on the arrests.
