<cutbacks in base-metal mining>

One would think this would filter over to silver byproduct? In the BAY annual report (excellent) that arrived yesterday I noted under "management discussion" a list of the five leading silver producing companies in 2000. I believe most of that production is byproduct? We will need to see some cutbacks from these names as most of the Chilean copper companies cutting back have little silver (although some gold):

Industrias Penoles (Mex.): 44.7 million oz
KGHM Ploska Miedz (Pol.): 36.0
BHP (Aust.): 32.5
Grupo Mexico (Mex.): 23.2
Homestake : 14.7

Do I see a couple buyers for BAY on that list?
