Ok....I get to be dumbass of the year with this question - well I had that cinched without the question but here goes.

Why wouldn't it be possible fit planes with airlock doors to the cockpit that would allow (if such a need presents itself) the captain to either depressurize or fill the cabin with a type of gas that would render the occupants unconscious?

I know its a little out there but....
