I think the bigger issue is related Derivitive guarentees. How many hedge positions by banks, funds etc have options sold by ENRON? I have had me head bashed in today so I need to step back and re-evaluate. I let 50K in profit evaporate today, stupidly trying to get that last push. I think this ENRON thing has more signifigence then we know, much as LTCM did. We should see some massive volitility next few weeks due to this blow up. I am still staying long QCOM/C/DYN. I think DYN is a super company and would hold it long term at these valuations, especially if comodity(NG)inflation returns. I am still positive in all three, but took a nice hit on ENE(tried to get witty). Should have been a clue that Ameritraders kept buying it.
