One big reason why I posted this on the board is that I wanted to know if his use of the data is right. That is debatable. The other very large key here is the source of the data. All Chen refers to is his "industry sources". One big reason why I'm taking this a little more seriously than I normally would take an analyst's opinion is because he was accurate and early in earlier statements about a very strong October, using this raw material indicator. Don't you mean Eric, not Ali? :-) My question is, did he predict it in September, or did he "predict" it this morning when he released the report? Also, how does he know he has all of Intel's resist and silicon vendors? How has he incorporated the new 0.13 micron process? How is he dealing with the 300mm process?
