That reminds me of a story... 1973..... a friend needed somebody to work a Boron station that he was just given control of...I was the friend.....and it was fun for a summer..... ONe crisp fall night I stopped in for some gas and oil....a young blond hippie type poured the gas and put a quart into my 67 skylark..... when I got my change..I was way short....I said....Geeze...the price of that oil is terrible...he shrugged his shoulders, gave a wince and said....hey man prices are going up all over..ya know.... and I screamed back... well they sure have jumped since I managed this station last week........... I think they call the look...."the dear in the headlights" he tried to apologize.... alas, it was too late........another one for the unemployment line.... SHootiesayswasthereapointhere?
