Paul, each contributor has a knack for finding winners now and then, often in offbeat ways or places that the rest of us normally would not notice or discover. I always enjoy the exchange of "I found XYZX running this kind of scan..." or "when I was looking around at agricultural machinery stocks I found this gem..." etc. Many don't work out as you note up front in your posts. But the winners are really sweet when they happen. And we get to vindicate Lynch's theory that the best plays usually aren't covered by the major analysts. I still don't think many people can beat the indexes by playing the indexes unless you go long and short and have a keen sense of timing. Most of the best mutual funds the last 3 years are microcap funds, no accident.
