Constantine, Re: "I think the XPs are plentifull, you can see how many are up on pricewatch."

You can't tell anything from pricewatch except that X number of vendors are carrying them. How many do they have? Is it as much as TBird? Where are they in retail stores? I see the flyers every week for Best Buy, Circuit City, Fry's, CompUSA, and others in my Sunday paper, and there is barely an Athlon XP to be seen (and usually AMD has been quite successful in retail). I don't see the big OEMs offering Athlon XP, except for HP and Compaq, but what can you tell of their volumes?

It's pretty clear that there is no indication of Athlon XP volumes, and every suggestion from AMD's forecast that Athlon XP is selling very low.
