Elie Hobeicka was the Phalangist commander whose troops committed the Sabra & Shatilla massacres. These massacres were one of a string of assassinations and massacres that the PLO and Phalangists committed all through the Lebanese civil war. Elie Hobeicka now works for Syria and is living in Damascus. His guilt in the 1982 massacres is undeniable. But no one is interested. Just as they don't care about the 1985 Sabra camp massacre. When Arabs kill each other, there's no story.
