Come Mikey. The other readers of this thread would like to know why the "clinical" studies are scientifically valid based on the known biology of the rhinovirus. Maybe you could start out with a refresher course for those that aren't as well educated as you are by explaining the difference between a virus and a bacteria. Then you can go on to explain the general biology of rhinovirus such as: 1) What class of viruses do rhinovirus belong to? 2) How many different strains of rhinovirus are there? 3) How is rhinovirus different from the closely related coxsackievirus and why wouldn't Zicam be effective against coxsackievirus? 4) Are rhinoviruses RNA or DNA viruses? 5) How are rhinoviruses grown in the laboratory? I could go on but these should keep you busy for now. Better get to the library before it closes shill!
