Let me translate stuff:

I used the term stuff very very liberally when I mentioned in my posting talking about a child growing up.

It can be very basic good stuff:

Like using a proper toilete.
Like having hygiene habits and proper food.
Like being treat well since your parents are educated.

It can be higher scale stuff:
Like riding at back seat of car.
Like being educated since an early age.
Live in a good, safe neighborhood.

Now it can be even higher good stuff:
Like having swimming lessons.
It own bedroom and plenty toys to exercise your abilities.
Like learning a second language at early age.

If you think positively about that, you may end up in the next generation not accepting less than yourself had for your own kids.

I barely had the basic stuff when I was a kid. But poverty stops here. I won't pass it to the next generation.
