NPR survey on tribunals: I am content to be in the minority in my opposition. Leahy's argument bears weight in that how many can be convicted if half don't get extradited? Civilian courts have better odds, based on simple mathematical probability.

And our arrogance, choosing to ignore the World Court rulings against us, holding other justice systems accountable yet flexing ours for the convenience of convictions (I thought the real pursuit was spozeta be justice), flouts the very concept of codified law itself... and we are trying to have it both ways. How very Clintonesque!

The Constitution is not a suicide pact. We lost perhaps 4000 out of 285 million and the patient seems likely to live and outlast a few thousand pests that have infested the world for a bit.... and the worst pests are reduced to living in caves in a drought stricken rubble of a country.

Yeah, yeah, let's sacrifice all the 'civilization' our system stands for, just to show 'em who's boss. We bad, uh-huh.

OBL was right: we are soft, like sheep, willing to wag our tail at false promises of security that have guaranteed us nothing. Even though driving an auto puts us at greater risk of harm... by far.

The survey shows people will use any justification for any means to get to a desired end... even when it's unnecessary.

Baa-a-a-a-a-a.
